ABOUT US

New Charter owns and manages around 15,000 homes in the Tameside area.  It was created in March 2000 with the transfer of the whole of the Council’s housing stock.  The Group is based in offices in Ashton under Lyne, but also delivers its services from shops in Ashton, Denton, Hyde and Stalybridge.

New Charter exists to build and support communities in the provision of safe, comfortable, secure and affordable homes through partnership with customers and others.

The Group recognizes that a key element of developing sustainable communities is by addressing issues of financial exclusion.
