Stage 7: Writing to your creditors

• Change the wording of the letter to explain your own circumstances.
• Attach a copy of your Personal Budget to any letter you send and keep a copy of both.
• If your account has been passed to a debt collection agency or sold on to a debt purchase company, write
  the same letter to them.
• Always keep copies of everything you send.
